How can I add an application or a document to the Dock?


Adding applications or documents to the Dock is done using similar methods. However, there is a small difference in where an application's icon is allowed to be placed on the Dock.

To add an application to the Dock: To add a document to the Dock: You can also add an application by Control-clicking (right-clicking) on its icon, while running, and choosing the "Keep in Dock" option.
