How do I publish my iCal calendar on the department's webserver?
These instructions apply to Mac OS X's iCal application only.
The procedure for publishing calendars from iCal is as follows:
after creating a calendar select "publish" from the calendar menu item.
check the appropriate check boxes, the "Publish changes automatically" is very helpful.
change the "Publish calendar" drop down menu to "on a WebDav server".
enter the base url.
For a private calendar enter:
http://calendars.stat.ucla.edu/private/private.php
For a public calendar enter:
http://calendars.stat.ucla.edu/private/public.php
enter your authentication information in the "Login" and "Password" fields, (same as used for departmental e-mail / fileserver access)
